Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Who is an L33+?

Is this like CEOs of the business line and up? I found the salary chart and it says 33 and above do not have a pay scale. I assume 33+ negotiate their entire employment/contract with the company then and are not considered like regular employees?

It is like this at every major corporation. Im not defending united because their worst than most but musk just got a trillion. This leads to unrest and elections like you saw in NYC mayor.

@ew Don't forget contracts value: RSU targets $1m+ for SLT and $2m+ for ELT. On top of $400-500k base plus RRP cash bonus.

The comp hockey stick starts at SG31, but in the clouds for SLT/ELT. When they talk wah wah they're impacted by the "company factor" for RRP like everyone else, don't shed too many tears. Their "RRP Target" is 200% of base (while a 30 is 20%, 28 is 10% and 26 and under get nada). The "employee factor" can be 0-200%, so sure, "company factor" of 50% goes into the equation, but not only are they getting more in absolute dollars but a far higher percentage than you.

Their bonus percentage alone is 10-20X what Directors get on a base that is more than double, sometimes triple.

Correct and when they leave or are forced out (ie. like MV) they get paid for a years worth (at least) of their contract. We really need to demand change. We cannot continue to allow them to do this to us while they continue to
Overload the remaining US employees and then reward them with 1% increases and bonuses that won’t even make up for the increases in our healthcare costs
