Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

New CISO named

Anybody met this guy yet?

Half of the IT leadership team is from WalMart and Arkansas. Another win for Chevron if the goal is to staff up IT with people who don’t know what a well looks like, or even worse, for a head of cyber who’s never dealt with PCN/OT and how to secure pipelines and offshore facilities.

Hmm so half of the FLT are from Arkansas. Good diversity of thought there.

I’ve taken so many leaders on tours of drilling rigs who have never seen one. I feel we have lost our way.

Which CISO or CIO had clue about PCN OT anyways.. half of people in Chevron think Running Business Applications and PowerBI dashboards is what makes money.

We should all point to the gentlemen who is head of talent acquisition. Starts with an R. He went to Arkansas, hired Les, and continues to hire folks from Arkansas. It's nepotism.

First order of business is for the new CISO to ask JS and SH to do some forensics on anybody using copilot to create degrading memes of “people of Walmart” and make those employees bow down to the kings.
