@191 I can confirm that. There were some managers which gave off-the-record warning to their teams, if they be negative in the survey it can jeopardize the team and their own existence. In my case I was honest and quite hard in the comment field. As to keep my integrity. I hated the hypocrisy climate which was penetrating top down. Number of folks were flattering their managers, and then back in the kitchenette saying how id--tic they are. So in the surveys. It gave them months more, indeed.
To the anonymity.. Managers don't receive the survey results under ca 8 people in dept, as the manager could guess who is the bad guy, if more then the manager receives the report, with no names. But, the HR know who wrote what as one needs to log into the survey. So only the HR process is the anonymizing engine. But HR works for the company, and is not the employee advocated. Therefore if business is angry and HR receives order, they need to reveal the full view into the survey. Which was definitely the case of Pulse back in Q1 2025.
@zp I fully agree with you. Even though I probably squeezed the loop around my neck, I was 100% honest in my last couple of surveys and advised my team to do the same. And that honesty was like a hot towel on tired face for my mind, soul and wellbeing. First time for a quite long time in KD I felt proud for just being sincere with myself and didn't follow directives from top management, how to Answer the questions.
@xt It’s not strictly anonymous. It’s anonymized in that if more than x number of people under you respond, you get the surveys, but without names attached. I don’t remember what the “x” number is, but it’s not that high. If you have 7 who respond out of 10 possible, you’re getting the surveys w/out names and can maybe figure it out.
@xt our manager told us it says on the form when you log in the survey is NOT anonymous to everyone and she was right. I used it in the hope of being put ON the list, works both ways.
@tt No, speak your mind, give them the full belt, the digital digitus medius and be at ease with any falling on your own sword for it. Better for mind, body and soul rather than eking out a few months in KD purgatory toadying around listening to VP corporate vomit and pretending its all rosy.
@tt I’m no longer with kyndrill but during one of the survey periods, I added some comments about my manager on how they could improve, said manager was not the same after, had a constant chip on their shoulder, I know they saw the comments, not sure why kyndrill hr keeps saying/promising the survey is anonymous, it definitely is not
@f0 I did it last year. Numeric rating down and not nice comment in the text field. You can guess what implication did it have ;) The layoff death row.
That naive I was. If one wants to survive then keep low profile, mark all green in Pulse, and only nice heart warm comments towards management. This gives you some months more ;)
Would you expect anything less from a company being run by human garbage.
@f0 with all the spywa... ehm security software installed on K laptops the login is the least of the problems
@es I lied...because ultimately they know what each person put in...
@f0 some have in the hope they can secure VR we now have more people checking SMEs hours/utilisation than we do SMEs the model is completely unsustainable with no pipeline relying on the few bad accounts we took with us when we were carved off
@es tell the truth in a survey were you need to log in?
Question is will people tell the truth or completely lie?
agree, absolutely tone deaf….tell us how great things are before we lay off another 10,000
