Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

LBT fixed nothing about bureaucracy

Just look at the sheer volume of IT GR10s + with their report or dashboard’s broken with bad data asking some poor Engineer about their wrong data. What a waste of time. Why are these people employed? LBT fixed nothing

Like playing poker with your sisters friends. Reshuffling the deck and changing the wildcard rules every Quarter round. MBA and lawyer up nepotism. No head scientist in sight of INTC shores. Old school process layers x86 redux. Let's party like it was Windows 95 all over again.

Layoff is the we-pon to chop off all 70k into the same sized cake. Anyone who tell truth that management do not like, anyone did superior work but his colleagues could not understand, anyone could not social well, they are all let go.

Intel is more like a military army. Don’t think, follow each other where LBT directed. You will be laid off if you stick your head.

LBT fixed nothing about bureaucracy

This is classic. It is extremely difficult to break up the power structures that have formed over years of mismanagement by only consulting with C-level (and perhaps one-level lower) management regarding company issues. You'll gain no understanding of the true problems with that approach and, therefore, won't be able to solve any of them. Instead, you'll hear the same old line of information that has been fed from that level to the top. To truly understand and address the real problems, a true leader must see them from the bottom up. Ask yourself - has any effort been made to do this? Have you seen any evidence of such effort? If not, then do not expect any true change but expect the status quo.

Tell the person that updates the Dashboard to tell the person who updates the spreadsheet to tell the person who actually does the work to work harder. That’s Intel.

I used to say that Auto was a sinking ship but now it more closely resembles Oceangate Titan. What a bunch of poseurs.
