@eq - Verizon is severing all ties with you. There's no need for direct deposit because you're no longer an active employee receiving a paycheck.

Companies can still send direct deposit even after you are off their payroll. They already have your info.
Check with HR for specifics on how you will get paid.

Mailed check
Check issued through the U.S. Mail.
Make sure Verizon has your up to date personal information (i.e., address, telephone number, email, etc.). This is important for any trailing information they need to communicate to you once you're offpayroll.
