Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

CS Townhall

There is always so much negativity and criticism of leadership on this page. For a change, can we acknowledge how awesome ML is at the helm of Corporate Strategy? Clear, communicative, transparent, empathetic, sincere, intelligent, experienced, down to earth. She’s the kind of leader we need.

Thinking the same about SS, saw potential there, perhaps in holding pattern for once HESS is integrated.

Agree ML seems to be a good fit, there is hope …. time for robotic MN to take a backseat. He simply can’t be the future face of CVX, always thought he would be better as a Herbalife rep.

@az Right! One of The strategy was to hire employees in Engine so we can save $$$$. So Why are we hiring contractors then?! There ya go, can't find real talents for a fractional cost unless you pay them premium.
Nobody there seem to work for an oil company, reporting evening shift.

Who's idea was this???

Why did SS get sidelined into such a minor role?

I'm assuming this office of Corporate Strategy is a brand new creation from the re-org, since we've obviously had no strategy up until now
