Sol G announced yesterday in his town hall that they are essentially closing the E building in St. Louis in the next 3-6 months. Moving everyone out & will only be using 2 floors going forward. STL has 2.5 million sq foot of workspace & only needs 600k. Everyone will move to E building. No mention of the D building (which only has 2 floors being used currently). Said STL will remain a hub but wasn’t the most confident statement when asked about career opportunities. Hate to say it looks like writing is in the wall for St. Louis.

They have been letting everyone go! Especially on the 6th floor. Team had 23 people now 6…. Same for other teams as well on 6th floor. Furred fur no reason. It’s very obvious what’s happening here
It’s True! They are firing everyone, unlawfully too!
Fyi, stl is no longer a hub location for technology, it is just a specialty location.
Hey at least we know what Sol’s favorite flavor ice cream is!! Mgmt is unbelievably out of touch.
It's dangerous to assume that the ivory tower wants this company to survive.
It'll be around longer than you think. There's too much brokerage industry knowledge. Maybe some other teams, but it's sort of the lifeblood for WIM and WFA. WIM Ops is bigger there than anywhere else.
I did find it interesting that Sol , a man who posts pictures weekly of everything , his town hall didn’t have a live link & wasn’t recorded. Especially since they actually gave useful information.
St. Louis location is not going to be around much longer. If you can’t see that, open your eyes!!
Well, prepare for things to get interesting.
By 2030, NYC will be the HQ of WFA.
Hearing rumors of a cancer cluster in the D building.
True, anything can change, but it's a hub today and the foreseeable future. Now, when the data center closes, then it'll get interesting.
For those that have been around STL for awhile know there's a ton of space in F and D. In fact, I bet they could fit everyone in F if they build out the floors more efficiently.
They must save on some costs when they shut down floors or buildings like utilities, cleaning, etc
Sol or Erik the information is what’s important. Also there is no live feed so unfortunately those who couldn’t go rely on coworkers for info (bad idea I know). Apparently znq knows more than most. I never got an email either about this “restack”. Even my manager was shocked & didn’t know this. I’m glad D is going to be used more. I am confused about leaving E bldg. what’s the reasoning there (besides cost). Where will all these people will go in F building ?
STL has demolished A&B , C is empty, D usage has been cut down & now E will be closed? If you don’t see a distinct pattern here you are blind. They can change hub locations at any time “due to business need”. Just ask the other downsized hubs.

@znq what email? When was this sent?
One, Erik said that not Sol
Two, there is really no first floor in E, the 2nd floor is staying open due to the breezeway to D
Three, D building will have about 7 floors still in use after the restack
Four, STL will remain a hub
Five, most of this was already spelled out in the email you should have received about the restack
Six, get it right, stop puking up cr-p that you think you heard and create false rumors
The writing was always on the wall for STL.
