@ew Here's the thing genius, mech ids are tied to a person just like s ids. They are locked down before they are transferred to your manager.

I marched to work at half past eight,
With coffee, keys, and dreams of fate.
I flashed my badge with practiced flair—
The door just blinked and didn’t care.
The lesson here is crystal clear:
When work locks you out, you better fear.
L5 here. The lock out did happen early. If it was you be warned.
@en you’re in danger
Many people were locked out including many mechIds . Has nothing to do with surplus. Just because you happen to be someone who was locked out does not mean everyone else affected is too.
And the bitlocker thing is a Microsoft update flaw- also not related to surplus. Not everything is a conspiracy.
Was the lock out related to BitLocker? I am experiencing a lockout this morning and waiting on a callback from helpdesk for BitLocker code.
@OP what do you mean locked out ? What was exactly locked out ?
never go full cause you can't come back
And…someone is clearing their cache and upvoting the false narrative.
This forum is getting ponderous.
@bx it was based on the layoff rank and file compiled by managers. Someone flipped the switch too soon.
Exactly who were the ones that got locked out? Was it, for example, all people in Bothel? Or people in a specific org? Anyone know??
Why do you keep lying about this? What kind of weird thrill is this giving you? Stop it.
Fact. My boss notified me that I am going to be surplussed and I was locked out. I’m mad as he-l right now.
Confirmed.
Never go full r3tard
