It is part of a building, not the whole building. The cameras are near the building entrances/exits.

is your office a whole building or one of those single floor offices?
I was assigned an office location as interim WFH until March back in fall. Now that March is almost done, I have not yet received an update. I was able to find my office seating map on Iris and looks like it's at full capacity. But still no update so I guess I am WFH "interim-indefinitely"?
I haven't worked out of an office since joining, do they only track badging in? or do you have to badge out when you leave?
We can leave without badging out, but there are visible cameras.
yeah managers beating around the bush when they know none of us are in the same location. Making the employees drive over 30 minutes just to be isolated and doing the work you would do at home..
You are going back to office so Cigna can benefit from the tax incentives. They know you will still do your job via Webex. Not sure why they won’t just be honest about it.

You might get an update soon, i was told to return to office 3x a week this past week but no further details yet on when its in effect or which office
I am not sure what's going on. I was assigned an office back in Fall and told I would continue to work interim remote until March when I would get an update on what my status is. I have not heard anything .
who was part of phase 2? were these people notified months ago?
RE: Has anyone that is over the 50 mi, been told to come back. Yes, there have been people that were told they were less than 50 miles based on city to city distance. They they had to provide the proof that the actual addresses were more than 50 miles apart.
does anyone know how early corporate offices open? can you get in at 6am?
My team is now asking for 3x even though most of us aren’t in the same location, so we go to the office just to do things by ourselves? Defeats the purpose of returning to office
Has anyone that is over the 50 mi, been told to come back and then also told they need a band 7 to approve otherwise?
Hours
Does anyone know if the “more than 50% of time in the office” requirement is based on hours or number of days? I keep hearing different things.
If it is based on the number of days per week someone shows up in the office (so 3) that is id--tic. I know some people who live close to the office who intentionally come in 3 days a week, but only stay in the office for 3-4 hours and then go home and log back in. Wouldn’t the total amount of time in the office be more important than the number of days???
I am told no phase 3. It will be handled less formally.
That’s phase 2. Nothing about phase 3 or more
Am I the only one who reads the Daily Essentials email? Find the one from yesterday (3/12) and you'll see that the first topic is "Our Next Phase of Future of Work" and it says 2,500 more colleagues are beginning to work onsite this week and next. It is also on the first page of Iris under Trending Content from 03/11.
It is also true that non-compliance is now a reason for termination, and that's termination without severance.
It seems that they decided to just move the jobs offshore instead. Oh, and they get to work from home..
It’s all a joke but they could use non-compliance as a reason to fire/terminate employment vs offer severance—- so keep that in mind if you are supposed to show up at the “ghost town” office.
Per the last manager HR communication, there will be no more phases for FOW. It is now up to managers to uphold the policy. Allegedly they will not be pulling reports to look at badge swipes, Allegedly.
I guess it all depends on your SLTs. Some in my org are following it to a T and others see no point especially when there are no other teammates on premise. Not sure of the rumor is true, I heard a reason for termination has been added for not following the policy.
From what I understand it has been a complete hassle and they are in the plans of downscaling it entirely for good. It does sound like it was to create attrition and ultimately positions at places like ESI and Evernorth are going to remain remote permanently. Some RTO will happen but not at insane scales.
The only reason for RTO is/was to create attrition.
The more who got assigned to an office and quit, the better.
The above seems true. Everyone is on the phone all day. Even with headphones on it's getting noisy and difficult to concentrate. Very little useful face to face conversation. Once a week would be enough.

Some people have worked from home for 20 years… asking them to return to the office is ridiculous. I hope this does fizzle out. As long as people are working and there’s no issues, I don’t see why anyone needs to return.
Good times
The March folks are going in starting next week. The whole RTO push has been a bust from what I’ve heard. For obvious reasons, it’s a total waste of time.
