Every job has its pros and cons, but here the bad has been steadily outweighing the good for years. I've got some savings, and I'm not exactly optimistic about the job market. But begging to stay and being consumed by fear over losing the job? Not happening, even though leadership would clearly love to see us on our knees.

Imagine being such a miserable multibillionaire and requiring that everyone spend $4/gallon to come into the office to look at screens. What made her so miserable THIS year that she is trying to punish us?
@ek you know it’s bad when someone said “the cons outweigh the cons” and don’t even know if it’s a mistake because the cons of unemployment might outweigh working at this dump
the cons are definitely starting to outweigh the cons
My whole team left. They saw the writing on the wall. The cons are definitely starting to outweigh the cons. Low pay, high stress and instability. If that’s what I wanted I can go work at an actual tech company, where people actually get paid for their work.
I feel like they won't offer it because they just want to t0rtur3 us. Imagine how much they would have to pay out in severance. So many lifers. They would rather have us choose to leave on our own, but someone else had a good idea - hang around until after profit sharing posts or if you have shares wait until after those pay. Actually get the 3k health reimbursement contribution. Don't quit before they offer you severance or March so at least they have to pay something. It's like a game of chicken - who is going to hold out longer?
I felt the same way and I quit. Put yourself first! There’s more to life and a career than feeling unsatisfied
I would be elated to get a package. I wish they would do a VBO that would extend to the "midlife" crowd - I'd snap that up faster than copilot can summarize the offer
