DOE Announces Genesis Mission Collaboration Agreements with 24 Organizations

Let's see if Dario's new role can pay dividends for Big Blew or if this initiative just dies on the vine.

@gd
Yup he is done with ibm. He also has to be unbiased. But we should also be done with him and not welcome him back with open arms when this goes belly up on him.

@ek Dario in highly unlikely to help others whom he knows to get inside his new organization. After all, they might learn about some dirt on him and expose him. He is no saint any more than Aunty Srineevasan in Bangalore. She is another BI--H like the Joanne the Walrus in Krabanaugh's office.

@fd ...and Dario is a con-man too. People should beware of doing business with this man or Alvind.

If any of Dario's efforts as leader of this mission can keep IBMers gainfully employed to prevent RAs then that's at least one positive.

@c8 the main point is that (like his crooked Indian teacher Alvind), Dario has NO integrity or honesty. He cannot be trusted to say or do the right thing, when the time comes to make big decisions, and he will dump them in someone else's lap to take the blame and the fall. Sh-t happens around people like him.

I think the main point is being missed. He repeatedly presented himself, in all-hands meetings, as a strong supporter and literally stated that he is a “champion for” certain values—statements that are documented in the recordings. (You can go back and listen to them) However, the administration he chose to join is advancing an agenda that stands in direct opposition to those values. That inconsistency raises serious concerns about his integrity. The cuts to science-based agencies, programs, funding and policies he will now be linked to, and that is difficult to defend. And frankly shameful. He is not the person he stated he was or who he wanted us to believe he is. This Genesis Mission is just silly too (read through it). It will basically amount to nothing.

Agree with the poster who said he's trying to reinvent himself. He went as far as he was going to go in his 22 years at IBM. A year or two in this government role and then he will use the connections he makes to get a massive amount of funding and go start some Quantum or AI company. And then after a few years of that cash out.

It is very crazy that nobody talk this thing before now. All the foreign people who get sent out of this country, they already know Dario was inside this matter. He is not your friend. He did not stand for you. He agree with them and help them remove you. He is working together with the same group who want you gone. All those people who were happy, clapping and supporting him, they do not see they were celebrating their own problem. In the end, it is them also who will be pushed out.

@b4 Morals and Integrity from a crooked Spaniard who took lessons from a crooked Indian ? That is hilarious. Dario is trying to reinvent himself by disavowing all things he stood for at IBM - DEI, Layoffs, Lying etc. and take up Na-i salutes instead. Another perfect example of a modern day Judas Iscariot.

Y’all ever find it strange how quick he was to hitch his wagon to an administration that runs clean counter to just about everything IBM’s ever claimed to stand for — and everything he himself said he was a champion of?

We’re talkin’ gutting science programs and slashin’ budgets, rollin’ back DEI, makin’ a mess outta foreign employee and visa issues — and don’t even get me started on all that Epstein mess. Shoot, he kicked off his whole “I wanna join the team” tour right about the same time folks were out there throwin’ Na-i salutes like it was no big deal.

And he looked at all that and said, “Yep, that’s where I wanna be.”

Now politics aside — whether you think it’s good, bad, or ugly — that ain’t the man he claimed to be for decades. So I gotta ask… what in the world happened to his morals and his integrity?

don't you worry, never fear - Dario will just f--k it up in this cr-ppy initiative just like every other thing he did at IBM. Then he will be shown the door. After all, he learned from the worst teacher, Alvind.
