Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Today’s org announcements - what was the point?

I can’t make sense of the flurry of org announcements today. It seems to just be a bunch of senior leaders swapping roles. Can anyone explain what the point of all of this was?

Don't forget all the "personal growth opportunities" these moves are bringing to each and every one of us.

It's in the "daily essentials" spam email so it's gotta be true.

HAHAHA to the “collaboration between teams”.

If only you could see my inbox full of apprehension, contradictory information, zero accountability, and the age-old passing of blame to other teams.

All of this sets up to deliver on our promises and will drive collaboration across teams.

I was also confused. Some of it really didn’t make sense. Like moving Cigna Healthcare network strategy under Evernorth??
What’s next- moving Express Scripts network strategy under Cigna Healthcare?
