Chevron needed to u load low performing people. Even if they delivered results and were well respected, it doesn’t emulate the business needs of Chevron.
All of those people trying to improve and innovate are only getting in the way of keeping a good thing going. We need to stick with greasing the wheels and making some oil here and there.
The people doing the work are all not needed. We need more people to run employee orgs and cheer for others who share their personal life as a ruse when really they want excuses made for them when they don’t do their job.
Those are the people we need because they create more work for others which is job security.
You people angry at the job cuts have no idea how good these layoffs are for us. It will get everyone in line with the Chevron Way.
There is always time to do it right.
