The manager has completely lost control over our team, and I don’t think they even care. They allowed office politics and squabbles to reach unacceptable levels. We are still expected to meet targets, and we do - under a lot of pressure. We compensate by doing a lot of overtime. Most of us are afraid of losing our jobs, so we do all in our power to keep it. It would all be so much easier and more efficient if my team was managed properly. I guess until we do what we are supposed to in terms of metrics, nothing will change. I started hating coming to work.

It seems that a toxic work environment is exactly what they want. If executives wanted to promote a healthy atmosphere they would monitor and hire managers with good skill sets. Here they get the bottom of the barrel. I don’t think the sr. Managers have a ton of skill in managing teams. This is high school and people yelling at other people in meetings is completely disrespectful but the manager says NOTHING.

Um, Charlie here: while you're arguing over the president, I continue to lay you all off, hire incompetent managers to mismanage, so that we can continue to have a reason to lay off the competent overpaid workforce. As I save money on payroll, the board and shareholders praise my great work and give me millions in bonuses. When I am done destroying WF, i can retire with my winnings. Thank you. Same here. I work in business control. My manager has lost it. They want people in the team to quit so they can take the savings and justify their own role. Our skip level is worse who makes no secret that they are looking for a role in the business.
