OK, what the heck is going on in the headquarters? Can someone explain to me why we have full size colorful posters of animals with copies on the elevators? I feel like I'm in a children's hospital. What's the scoop and why?

Complete waste of money. HQ is not a public building. You would think to get the employee in the elevator to foster conversation between peers you put it INSIDE. People waiting for the elevator are focused on 1 thing - getting to their desk. SMH 🤯
No elevator music? 😂
@np Very trashy location, must be coming from that vacant swamp land near the river.
They are too cheap to buy Juniors cheesecakes from across the street, and give out slices to show appreciation every once in a while.
Unfortunately, they’ve made no effort to develop an upscale campus like Burlington Stores did with their headquarters.
@ef Clearly you have the luxury of elevators.. Our location in South Jersey is trash... I haven't seen these posters, however we aren't "allowed" out of our seats and God forbid you get seen talking.. ..
@a5 our location has roaches and snakes as well.. Throw in a mouse or 2 for good measure... (South Jersey)
@ef “Uplifting, carnival-like, good for morale…” What are you drinking? When I saw this last week, I was also shaking my head. what’s next, coloring books and animal cr--kers upon entering the building tomorrow? Come on HR you can do better than this.
@ef Decent merit increases and not having to come into office after a Monday holiday are good morale boosters! Not useless elevator stickers.
@ef based on this ridiculous response I'm assuming this was your little project?
Ah yes… the posters. Very, very… nice. Bright colors. Happy animals. Very cheerful. At Canon, we always believed in positive environment, yes. This feels… uplifting, like carnival, but in good way. Makes elevator… friendly. Not serious, not cold. Good for morale. Very thoughtful idea. Yes, very good. Thank you Sammy-san.
It's to enhance collaboration
My location has garter snakes in the building, while Melville has the biggest snake of them all “Sammy Snakes Cobrashi”.
