They’re creating conditions so no skilled person with options would stick around. You can’t offshore every job. Thinking you can automate anything beyond repetitive tasks is laughable. Chasing the bottom of the barrel guarantees problems. Specific experience, role secrets, and workarounds matter. Paying for quality is an investment, while saving $10 now can cost $100 tomorrow. Apparently, they haven’t grasped the concept. Piles of money, right here and right now, are blinding, I guess.

It’s really not more complicated than this: U.S. Bank is run by incompetent people whose biggest fear is being unseated from their role. Their focus is always going to be self preservation first. Don’t overthink it. It’s that simple.
Hard work isn't rewarded here. Brown nose, untalented a-s kissing, being a yes person is rewarded. Management knows they are hated and disrespected. They believe everything an a-s kisser says because they have had their tongue in places you can't imagine.

One thing to realize here is that the largest owners of USB and most companies are just index funds which automatically keep investing into companies like this. So there is no one who actually cares at the institutional investor to speak up for anything.

This is all intentional to save money on the front end. Things like code quality, security and customer satisfaction aren’t even being considered as they slash more and more to make the ‘numbers look good’ for shareholders. The repercussions on the backend won’t matter as executive suite will walk away laughing with their millions. This has happened to most all companies that McKinsey touches (offshoring has been handled like a blueprint).
