Do we know the number yet? Someone mentioned 800 in CX (watercooler), does this seem about right?

My package said I would receive a WARN notice Aug 4th, but my last day is Oct 3rd.
What is the significance of the WARN notice?
Yeah, I agree, we're realistically talking THOUSANDS at least!

At least 10x that much. Remember that $1B is the target. You don't get there with 800 emps.
On #WARN - you have them here for California, no Oracle reported WARNs:
https://edd.ca.gov/en/Jobs_and_Training/Layoff_Services_WARN
Texas is here:

You get the rules here:

State of NY, this is where consulting cuts are happening is here, again, nothing reported by Oracle: https://dol.ny.gov/warn-notices
Not sure where else to look
The Information leaked the info in July, they said several thousands in the USA, India, Canada and Europe. CX Focused. Other groups affected as well.
We'll know more at the end of day today once things settle, this is a big layoff for Oracle.
And the companies continue to hire H1bs and L1bs to replace US workforce with no fear…
I don't know the number, but I do know I'm let go. Yes, from CX.
"Also, I am perplexed about theym doing such a large cut and not filing a WARN notice."
WARN notices are not just published, you have to ask for them via public records request. So maybe they did?
4,000 is a reasonable number. We need the media to come in and ask them to publish the number. Also, I am perplexed about theym doing such a large cut and not filing a WARN notice.
I think @ecy is right here, given the rumors and what got leaked to the media. It'd make sense. I would not want to be in CX now.
I have read anywhere from 50-70% which could be up to 4200.
