@ef Yup, but MAN, this person had a lot of long-term friends and colleagues. He was always a cheerleader for the company. I expect productivity for the rest of the team and morale to plummet. Maybe that is what the execs want.

When I was let go, seniority meant nothing, it was all about who was a better kiss or the bosses rear end, it didn’t matter what was best for the company or the team, it was all about the boss, nothing about seniority or performance or even attendance
