Unfortunately yes. Every manager will have a "tell". Mine politely offered to cancel 1:1's for the 3 weeks leading up to the RIF day. Simply saying he didn't have much to cover and was kindly offering me that time back in my day. No manager likes to have to lay people off, so yea, if your's seems more empathetic he's probably got a number of these to do before this is over and it's weighing on him.

Good chance your manager is equally in the dark. We lost a couple people in Mexico the other day, and my manager found out an hour before.
You are definitively on the list.
If you see subtle changes in your manager's behavior and also feel like something's off at the same time, that could be an indicator. Perceptive people can see these things coming sometimes.
