As far as layoffs, Oracle is following the footsteps of Meta, Microsoft, AWS, IBM …etc of the world

"An H-1B visa holder generally has a 60-day grace period after their employment ends to find a new job and file a new H-1B petition, or to depart the U.S. During this grace period, the individual maintains their nonimmigrant status, but they cannot work unless a new H-1B petition is filed and approved. If a new petition isn't filed and approved within the 60 days, or if the existing visa validity expires sooner, the H-1B holder must leave the U.S. to avoid accruing unlawful presence"

Not sure whether more layoffs are coming, but Mr. Market gave O a big no confidence vote today. They will need really good numbers during the quarterly report next month.

Confirmed- GIU changes start on 9/2. Details are murky but it looks like a lot is being folded into Oracle Apps.
