CN to short and only useful for procrastination so Wirth loved him and LS to make sure Upstream did nothing. EB will exit for a wonderful life on the continent. BN face better for radio then CEO.. MN to old. BK only 75% in club so that leaves JG who always seems to fall upwards. Sell your stock or hope we get bought

Since Wirth and Nelson are not exiting together, it’s going to be Nelson for a couple of years in transition, before he hands it off to EB, JG, or BK depending on timing.

My prediction is Wirth exits soon, JG becomes CFO, and EB becomes head of OPG. All the technology, new energy, AI stuff gets folded in under RB.

Depending on how EB does, the next couple of years, it could also be JG or BK as the darkhorse.

Yes, I realize that having Nelson in charge might be even worse than Wirth, but I just don’t see them exiting together.

@q1 a huge portion of their US-based workforces are also Indians

@e4 I don't think what you described will play out. Indians run Microsoft and Google yet the workforce is predominantly US based.

@jv EB would have been the new Chair/CEO if the Board had not given MW an extension. Now the Indians are in play so she missed her shot. She wasn’t (isn’t?) qualified then but at least she would have kept the company in the U.S. Maybe.

CN turns 65 in 2027. AW is almost 60.

Most likely BK, and you will see a string of Indians being brought up through the ranks as they promote their own and continue to ship more work back to their home country.

First you’ll see ENGINE expats coming to the the US to learn, then you’ll see ENGINE employees being given senior leadership positions, then you’ll see them in the executive pipeline. Along the entire way more jobs will be cut in the US and Australia and sent to Bangalore.

They will come for the Manilla and Buenos Aires jobs last as US leaders will still protect those locations where they have established trans, and since they’re also low cost the ENGINE folks won’t have enough justification to transition it to ENGNE, but once enough US leaders are replaced by Indians those offices will be reduced and transferred to Bangalore as well.

Check back on this post in 8 years.

BK. Just like in the tech industry, when a company is focused on divesting itself of the American workforce, they hire an Indian to do the job.

Balaji is my guess. Many successful companies have gone the path of the Indian CEO

@d1 DW is a good answer but Vicki Hollub would be a hilarious turnabout for MW.

Historically it has always been an internal candidate, on the ELT, who is in their early to mid 50’s to allow a 10 year run for continuity. Could be non US just as was DJO.
