Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Time for John Saw to go

T Mobile never had a terrible CTO like John Saw. He has destroyed our organization to a shell of what it was under the previous CTOs. We have lost serious talent and expertise under his leadership.
When he was CTO of Sprint, he almost drove that company to bankruptcy with poor decisions and leadership. After that fiasco, why is he still CTO at T Mobile?
Fire John Saw and save T Mobile.

@e3 Not exactly a vote of confidence - Cleanest windows on the short bus just requires a different skill set or a longer tongue!!!

@e3 To be fair it’s a pretty low bar so it’s possible.

Not sure John started us on this Doom Loop; or if he can/wants to stop it. With no prospects for career advancement and uninspiring leaders it seems now to be a race to the bottom. My advice: thoughtfully take management back to "BARE BONES" and start investing in the engineers that built and keep this network operating.

I'm finding that my voice calls are experiencing no audio in places where it had been great for the past 5-10 years...

It's Dr. John Saw. It's important for investor confidence to have at least one member of the SLT that looks smart.

I’d agree. This guy has nothing new to sell. He’s been in the vacuum for the last 6 years to develop products. Where is it?

@OP i couldn't agree more. I had to listen to him before I was let go talk about how difficult it was for him when he was working in the field to test radio [wimax i think] and he was getting interference and didn't know what to do to resolve the interference. That to me told me that he was as d-mb as a box of rocks.
