I heard they are laying off but not offering a severance package this time.

No need to lay anyone off with everyone quitting!

@py The non-anonymous/anonymous survey that only a few select HR staff and managers can see — that includes employees’ individual responses. That’s a convenient way to single out anyone who suggests real improvements for the company. Of course, the results won’t be released for months, giving them time to spin any negative feedback.

@mk the pulse survey was always viewed by suspicious employees as I clandestine way to identify disgruntled people prior to laying them off.

Similar to last year, layoffs will not occur until after the employees’ pulse survey closes. They are likely immediately afterward.

If you made it on Friday, you're safe for another week.

10/15 and 10/22 is what we're told in Clifton. Not a large number. Some already know.
We hear Florida too.

man we got the timing of this one way off. What happened to the new reddit group. The creator isn't managing it since creating it in the last layoff when r/L3Harris got banned. r/L3Harris was a great place to talk about L3Harris. The new group's mods need to manage and accept/approve those who want to post.

@ej No. The really big April 2024 layoff was Thursday April 11.

In the past two Octobers, layoffs have occurred on the 3rd or 4th Wednesday.

Has every layoff occurred on a Wednesday? (Excluding official WARN layoffs)

@e3 where did it happen and how many? A couple of people in Clifton but a few have voluntary left recently. Maybe that's enough to ward off a major RIF.
