Is Shannon the favorite? Internally, Yes. The restructure explicitly favors her organization over the traditional engineering group. However, the Board is currently cleaning house (RTO, Layoffs, Divestitures) and Boards usually prefer to hire an External CEO after a cleanup to start fresh without any baggage from the previous administration. I guess we’ll know more after the earnings call. Will be telling if she is on it.

Come on. This company has to do better.
They have to pick someone that is respected and that the market will see as an innovative best in class kind of leader.

Feels like the it's going back to stale, no r&d, no innovation - just cost cutting and keeping the lights on.

Shannon will be the CEO . She made sure existing OT leadership is removed so that there is no competition.
It’s more that Savinay doesn’t have any direct reports in the org chart. Curious.
He is still listed on the org chart as interim CEO.
