Thread regarding Seagate Technology Inc. layoffs

CEO exit

Seems like the exit is being planned with his naming as chairman. BS will take over in 2026.

SL was both Chairman and CEO for quite a few years....wouldn't be surprising to see DM follow suit. Sales/Marketing lead to CEO would be unusual especially given no experience in running any other parts of the company

Following the pattern set by Steven L? Does BS intend to do something ill advised like attempt to move customer engagement and product development overseas? Turning over the company to a foreign passport CEO would be very unusual for a US tech company and may have consequences, especially for US employees.
