Post ID: @w1+1k5y5rm5m You probably should click the link for that free snickers. You’re not you when you’re hangry
@w1 security is for Libtards, not me.
There is a team hard at work at BNY just to do things that annoy YOU and make your life more difficult and less convenient. It's their calling. None of this has anything to do with securing the organization, protecting information, or making it more resilient to attacks, since the weakest link in the security chain is still YOU. Go ahead, click that link offering free prizes. Type in your password at some strange website at the promise of a free fun size Snickers bar. Wonder why nothing happens?
Every time i have to pick up my phone to authenticate I end up seeing other notifications on my phone. Then they've lost 5-10 mins of work time from me.
@e1
It’s ‘sarcasm’ you imbecile.
No wonder you work here. What a Mor-on you are!
@ar such big words for a little man. Its ground breaking? Cause someone wants to sign into to do their courses or sign and submit my timecard for me. Its a waste of time and resources making up jobs like this. Yea lets have a team we pay well thinking of what else we can slap authentication on
You people are all ingrates. This is groundbreaking, next generation, new innovation stuff. Why you can almost hear the clients stampeding to BNY just to experience this!!! It’s a major achievement and a foundational pillar!
Haha! This is exactly what goes through my mind everytime I log on. Wondering what stupid numbnuts thought up that idea.
I say the same thing. I wish diarrhea on them! And the WiFi in my building su-ks. It’s so hard to log in cause of that.
😄
Set your laptop to use a PIN to sign on. I did that and it got rid of 99% of the annoying Authenticator signons.
1) Type Sign-in Options from the search bar.
2) Under Ways to Sign In, select PIN
3) Set up your PIN
Next time you go to sign on, click signon options and use PIN instead of password.
