Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

October 15 eve

Rumor is massive layoffs tomorrow. Yet the severance policy hasn’t been adjusted downward, and I haven’t seen other obvious clues. Also it seems they should have done it in Q3 to offset the bad news we expect. Does anyone have insight? Otherwise I have to assume the big layoff will occur second week in December to capture it in 4Q.

@fx, you're either faking it, not making it, or su-king on Steve B's big toe.

Here are the facts:

Historical daily share price chart and data for Xerox Holdings since 1962, adjusted for splits and dividends.

The latest closing stock price for Xerox Holdings as of October 28, 2025, is 3.57.

The all-time high for Xerox Holdings stock was 70.68 on May 03, 1999.

The Xerox Holdings 52-week high stock price is 9.91, which is 177.6% above the current share price.

The Xerox Holdings 52-week low stock price is 3.03, which is 15.1% below the current share price.

The average Xerox Holdings stock price for the last 52 weeks is 5.94.

Truth is very stubborn, and Steve B's toes got to be sweet to you

@b3 I've sat through his last dozen or so town halls, and it's clear that Steve has a knack for serving up a buffet of excuses, each one seemingly more inventive than the last. A close friend of John Bruno confided that Steve B's golden parachute is now a financial burden, and no sane executive is eager to captain this sinking ship. Steve's compensation must be recalibrated to reflect the dismal stock performance. John Bruno has yet to add any value, and Louie Pastor seems to be draining the company's vitality, all while we (the workers in the trenches) continue to bail water from this floundering vessel.

@dz I was laid off and I was a production field service technician. I heard some managers have been let go as well. Seems like it hit alot of different job titles.

The lucky ones will be gone this month…the survivors will just wish they were among them!

10/24 some already got advance notice. May not be the main date but some are done then.

@av Heard they are not to do it on a Friday as it can be very upsetting news and it leaves people until Monday to talk to a lawyer, counsellor etc. Distraught all weekend. May be very traumatic to some.

Took me a year and roughly 200 applications but I’m finally in the running for 2 excellent positions.

Warned All of You for Months.

Maybe now you get it. Hopefully so.
I really tried to warn people.
But I was met with. “Raise the dividend “
and “ No transferable skills.” and “ yawn”

Looks like History has made its judgement, regardless of how you try to rewrite what’s happening.

Remember, there are only so
Many lifeboats that still float…

No significance to the day of the week. Why would Friday be illegal? 10/15 is in q4, doesn’t have to be December. Severance is already minuscule in the US. Would not expect another reduction in it. A layoff, no matter the size, does not offset “bad news”.

@a3 the last big job cut announcement was on a Wednesday - the 15% job cull on January 3rd 2024

What a day, they even let you put yourself forward to get paid to leave - all gone then on Friday March 15.

When they had big ones, they used to be on Thursdays, I think.
