Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

FWA and Frontier will save us !!!

In the fourth quarter of 2025, Verizon reported 319,000 total Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) net additions. This performance brought their total FWA subscriber base to over 5.7 million

Frontier reported Q4 2025 results with $997 million in revenue, beating estimates despite flat capacity year-over-year. The airline achieved a $53 million net income ($0.23 per share), with $874 million in liquidity, benefiting from strong cost controls and an improved revenue environment.

Only thing saving this company right now is the investors thinking they will make money on a cow already milked, good thing is cows can reproduce milk. No matter how you put it, the company didn't need to be saved. The company needed to make more money to look better to investors who su-kle on that te-t. The employees and livelihoods who made this company possible, and sold it's products as experts were the ones who had to make the sacrifice to AI and their liveliehoods. Just to look good to the investors. It's all a rouse, and will eventually come to a head. Honestly, what company needs to make 18b a year?

@dy Quote from the OP: “ The airline achieved a $53 million net income ($0.23 per share)”

You can find the same info for Frontier Airlines on any of the financial websites stock symbol ULCC.

You didn’t even bother reading before slinging insults!

When you look behind the Net adds broadband you will see lower ARPU since smoke screen of SFU FWA adds. MDU FWA is overhead and zero contributions. The fiber broad will see Frontier claiming Fiber adds but replacing copper broadband so a little bump in ARPU. vz Fios will show increase broadband at a deceleraring rate. ARPU will decline as video continues to cancel.

Lots of overhead in Fiber marketing channels to cut

Considering this is what Vz Executives call growth strategy you can anticipate significant cuts 2Q and 3Q.

It's a shell game

@OP Are you intentionally claiming the earnings of Frontier Airlines as part of Verizon’s? I laughed but I’m not sure if I should laugh with you or at you. Regardless, thanks for the comedic relief!
