Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

New flex PTO?

Do we keep our vacation time and PTO is flex or is all paid time off flex starting next year?

The advantage for XRX is when they do a mass layoff under the new plan, they no longer have to pay out vacation time. Bad times are ahead.

@dw This board is now discussing the Ken Doll Governor? The only place downsizing faster than Xerox is the State of California, with people leaving in droves, that is, until NYC installs Comrade Mamdani as mayor. If Xerox really wanted to make money, we should start a moving company division that caters to millionaires - round-trip trips from NYC to Florida every day. We'd get those anniversary pins back in no time!

@by of course this is the wild wild west USA that has no interest in having any regulation to protect the employee. If you’re not in a Union I the USA; then you are subject to how much your employer cares about providing benefits for it’s employees. Xerox is batting 0 overthelasr 10 years for caring about it’s long ter employees-

For some it’s not ALL of your current vacation time.

The wording is up for interpretation which is how they want it

No more vacation time, it's all flexible paid time off. Just hope you have a manager that approves it, and doesn't constantly say you're too busy.
