After being left standing… I applied to multiple roles in different functions in the PDC and my selection rep was not present or in town during those conversations and admitted to not being fully aware of my workday applications ..wtf ..

SELECTIONS HAVE A L W A Y S BEEN RIGGED PEOPLE
@dt not even. The rest of us laugh as you think you actually have an employment discrimination case during a mass layoff. None of us are that important, pull it together.
I love how whenever someone mentions attorneys or lawsuit, it's met with a nasty response from HR or Legal who monitors this site. Not saying that doing that will be successful but even the mention get someone in upset.
As others have said - you weren’t shortlisted, so your rep wasn’t needed. When your greasy employment lawyer comes ba----g on the door of 1400 with the lawsuit, CVX will show them that you didn’t make the cut and someone else got the role. There is no case. Buh bye
Oh wait - maybe that employment attorney will drop that link to the top 25 attorneys in town for like… the fifth time.
I recorded on my phone all meetings with the selection rep and HR. The level of inconsistency with what they said and what was documented by HR is amazing. Taking the recordings plus documents to an attorney.
Yup… my rep didn’t even want to meet with me at all. Said he was too busy.
Don’t call us, we’ll call you.
Yes, if short listed, your selection rep needs to be in the room or dialed in via video, even if on vacation. Sounds no need to dramatize this.
Selection rep is only in the room if you are short listed. Sounds like you were not short listed.
Seems like a word to the wiser; hold your selection rep to the fire, recorded the meeting and document
Then you have nothing, it is what it is
Is this enough for an employment lawyer?
It was a conversation on the phone; you know since our computers/teams were taken before the PDC.
Admitted in writing?
