There are rumors that there will be major reorg announcements tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday for the businesses and some back office positions. Not sure if any layoffs are included in these announcements but stay tuned.

Anything yet!
@ep which location?
Yes. This is 100% true in tech today. My team impacted. I don't know of any formal communications that went out or if there will be any. It will probably be the same from JF "difficult decisions" or "saying goodbye to good people" and blah blah blah.
@e8 mostly meant Peter jepson ,he is in risk ,not under Nawani
Someone I know with 20+ years of employment was let go today in JAX
I am aware of at least five [TECH] lay offs today. Two in TN and one in KY. Not sure where the other two are located.
@e9 so sorry. Where are you located?
Any email communication yet?
Can confirmed it happened in Tech today and I am one of them!
@e1 name doesn't ring a bell.. Can't recall a Peter in Nawani's team.. But am not at Citi anymore so maybe I just forgot
Anything in AML CRIU?
I haven’t heard of any today in KY or controls governance and oversight.
@dm pete jep is intact?
@df might have made sense to wait for the dude from Google to finish his garden leave there and join Citi before doing changes in Tech? Not that he couldn't have been on calls with Tim Ryan etc. discussing the changes... Google can't stop him from joining calls. He could also have been told he can do further changes once he's on the ground at Citi 3-6 months into his role.
Wonder what changes are required in the EDO other than laying half the useless tw@ts off... Nawani and his directs have built an army of yes men
@bg+1kp6n2qsj Tech - CIO, Risk(Tech/Gov) & EDO from what I'm hearing. I can't go into specifics but we'll see. Sometimes they do more or less than one hears. It's just a waiting game unfortunately.
I was at Citi a long time and it was the worst for re-orgs. Can't you guys get it right? What's the sense of a re-org every 6 mos? Creates total chaos until the next re-org. Citi clearly has no idea what it's doing.
@aw which location business?
I think I remember it happening post investor call last year. There’s been so many mini-waves and quiet purges I’ve lost track tbh. My manager is acting like they have lost their mind which is not their normal behavior. So i wouldn’t be surprised if they are axed. I think tech will be impacted soon because that is a super bloated area.
In my 10 years at Citi, I don’t ever remembering one quarter that went by without this very sentiment of “it’s happening this week” being repeated.
Sometimes its true, sure. How could it not be true if you are always saying it.
Either way, I’m number to it all. Layoff, sure, why not. No layoff, sure, why not.
Tomorrow? My guess is next Wednesday. By then, those impacted from March layoffs in the UK would have served their notice periods esp since the group included Directors/SVPs.
No need for your team alone if it's a big announcement which area of business will be affected and at which level svp or up or below?
@a9 Don't take names but can you provide the general domain of your team? I mean, is it front office, middle or back office? Is it in a support function like data or fin crimes, is it in risk mgmt etc
@a3 I can't say too much without giving myself away. My team is all over NAM and the UK and we were told we're having announcement tomorrow.
Where? Who? The email was so vague.
@a1 I haven’t heard anything about tech.
Which business impacted?any tech impacted?
