Does anyone know what this 15 minute meeting is about?

Geesh, there was very little transparency in that call besides their fancy slides. I believe Jeff K. even stated he has very little experience in the healthcare industry, yet he is one of the two in charge of the company transformation? Give us a break...

Like others have said, it's a broken record, just with different leaders now. They only care about the stock price, not about the associates and the members.

I didn’t even attend. It’s all BS. They aren’t going to be transparent about anything. It’s always beating around a bush with mass confusion. What do they think they accomplish with this cr-p?

Everyone was invited. It was the 2 frat boys who run the company telling us they run the company. And continuing to gaslight us that it's in our best interest to be replaced either by AI or offshore.

And I know you're confused because those two don't run the company.

I'm going to hold your hands when I say this.....those 2 out of touch non-IT experienced 1%ers are making all the decisions. That's your transformation.

I’m not part of GBD and was on the call. I also got another invite for next month meeting 30 minutes.

Anyone notice how he referred to us as “this group”? I wonder if the entirety of GBD was on this call or just a portion of it.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who had no idea what that was about. Have you ever seen those YouTube videos or TikTok’s …. tell me we’re considering riffing a bunch of you without saying we’re riffing a bunch of you. Someone else commented that this was a tap dance I agree 100%. Honestly, if they wanted to validate our feelings about riff, they accomplished their goal.

@dji...They did make that point and I thought the same thing!! More time with family and doing what we would rather be doing. What a terrible performance this meeting was!!

I just wasted 22 minutes of my life just to hear them dance around the word rif.

I give kudos to them for addressing the humanity and AI question. Straight up said it will give employees more time with their families and doing stuff they'd rather be doing.

Which means, you will be on unemployment soon.

This was a complete sh-t show. Just a lot of tap dancing around the elephant in the room (RIFs) with a lot of mumble jumble and buzzwords. 15 minutes of my life I can’t get back.

Just more company jargon with no clear answers. Fake questions at the end

It is about transforming the company with AI. As I have said here before, they will layoff more and more people as they teach AI to handle the work. They will spin it as positive for members, but it amounts to far fewer employees and alot more automation. They will just pu--yfoot around with the language.

They are literally calling the transition team "execution teams". lol.

All companies are going through this right now.

I have it too. I thought maybe it’s an AI thing but the 15 minutes does have me concerned. Will report back once it’s over if no one else beats me to it.

I only have a stream link to this. Can't really see any invitees to that. Wonder what it is about

I'm in GBD and I have this meeting on my calendar. On the top of the invite it says "The organizer has hidden the list of attendees for this meeting."
Hoping for the best, but mentally preparing for the worst.

Look and see who else was invited to that meeting, if possible. Check if some of those folks are HR.

It can vary whether one can see that or not. There have been occasions in the past where the meeting was not as concealed as perhaps it should have been.

I was party to a meeting, not on a non-pay Thursday, where jobs (~800) were farmed out to IBM.

Good luck!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news.
I know most of us are accustomed to layoffs on Thursday of an off pay week.
But I am living proof it happens on other days. When it happened to me it was a Tuesday of a pay week. The meeting was on our calendars for at least a week prior. This is why we didn’t suspect it. Good luck. I’m hoping it is just some nonsense about accepting change but be prepared for the worst.

I was wondering the same thing but I don’t think it’s a layoff meeting. I don’t think they would be so bold to do one that public/big. It’s probably another pep talk or about restructuring. We will all find out in a few hours!
