Can you confirm will commercial or GBD case management be affected ?
Just had to verify emergency/ alternate phone number in workday, 1 week 2 days and counting
It has become a big enough story internally that some departments have already addressed the "rumors" of an 8/8 layoff and are denying that anything is going down in that particular unit. Which may or may not be true, but the point is that there is a lot of whispering going around and the consensus seems to be that GBD is going to get hit hard due to the decline in membership and the loss of Medicare Stars. They've already made some moves in other areas to roll some of GBD into Commercial operations and I wouldn't be surprised if they do more of that on 8/8. Elevance is getting destroyed lately on Glassdoor and the CEO rating has taken a nosedive, so this is all coming at a long term expense to the company.
The guy in another thread thinking he's going to get free lunches three days a week is going to be pretty bummed.
Advised by upper management that under performers need to be worried.

Everyone should expect to be affected; it's enterprise-wide. Hopefully some groups will escape (this round, at least), but my understanding is it is across the entire organization.
