If you don’t have health insurance through anthem and get it thru a spouse at another employer, you are safe.

@cj Hahaha!!!! They should have invited disgruntled employees to the marketing meetings when they were throwing around new names for the company. When they said, "How about Elevance?" A half second later we all would have yelled out at once, "hellavance!", "elephants!", "evilance!", "avalanche!" Then marketing would have said, "scratch that idea."
@jx BCBS Texas is an Anthem plan for Commercial Business; not for Group Business
I thought BCBS Texas was an Anthem plan. Shows what I know. Thanks.
@h2 BCBS Texas
What insurance does your spouse have. I’m in the market for something other than my recently ex-employer’s line of products.
I have better cheaper and more comprehensive insurance through my spouse employer - no one hassles me, they have competent and responsive customer service and don't shove higher priced models at me that I don't want to line their pockets. This place treats its own like cr-p they can make more money from
@dj Did they hire you?
@cq this is pure fiction I can promise you that and the fact you believe it tells me Elevance hires id--ts.
GBD Benefits Configuration was already outsourced to WiPro back in August 2024. They are already not employees of Elevance anymore.
@cd Wow I didn’t realize the company would sink that low in determining who to rif. I didn’t think I could be shocked anymore by what this company does. I’m am shocked though. How sad.
Most employees I know who have working spouses at other companies use the spouse's insurance because it has better coverage, lower deductibles, and better customer service. Not to mention, when my phone translates a voice message from EH customer service to text, it translates 'Elevance Health' to 'Elephants Health'... LOL!!!!
@c1 assuming they mean it’s cheaper to keep an employee who doesn’t have insurance with this company as opposed to an employee with a family policy with anthem. Two employees with the same salary, rif the person there paying insurance for.
What insight do you have? This post is confusing. GBD Config has been hit multiple times. I don’t the RIFs are contingent on whether you have insurance through Anthem or not.
Please explain what you are talking about. This post is nonsensical.
