@bj They will spin any negative impact, IF there’s any. There’s already been lies spouted by the media regarding the number of US people they’re getting rid of and I haven’t seen anyone jumping defending us. Just look at the lies of percentages the leaders have put it there.

Chevron is buying silence with the severance of the 2 weeks for every year of service offer. If they layoff people by reducing positions that is defendable but when they lay us off and buy low wage workers in a foreign country they risk negative impact on their brand. The gasoline brand is not getting cheaper the price at Chevron stations is a premium product. They offer the severance to protect the “brand” name.

@OP it will not be 2 weeks for every year. I’ve consistently said this on this board. If you’re lightly thinking of pushing that beautiful EOI button, I would do it as soon as you can.
