I really want out of this place, but I don't want to leave empty-handed. I wish they offered a VOB or something like that.

That sounds correct
It is best to update your resume and start getting connections to look for a new job.
This is true. Your manager/Director/Supervisor will put you on am unofficial "Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)" setting up daily 15-minute meetings to check what you do, what your work plan, the meetings you have to attend, your participation, what you will do tomorrow, end of the day accomplishment, then repeat the same 15-minute meeting checkups until you get miserable and leave on your own. I'd say document everything and file a Title-7 violation suit.
Only a simp would stay in a job they dont like.
Don't tell your manager that you want to get laid off. He/she won't lay you off. They will just keep making your life miserable enough so that you will leave on your own. I know a couple of people where that happened. Good luck.
Please post your names with A/N/C ID's. We can grant your wish.
We all want this, there would be nobody left.
