Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Do all years of service count in retirement equation?

If you worked here a few years and the came back, do your previous years of service count toward the retirement calculation (age + years of service)?

@dc I left for better pay and came back for even better pay from the experience I got when I left. What I did leave behind was enough years of service before the gap to retire. If I retire I get all my RSRs which is not an insubstantial sum because again, better pay.

But thanks for your concern about my “thought process”; you’re a real peach.

Any break in service of 6 months or longer resets your service to zero. They will only bridge your service if your return in less than 6 months.

@OP The job market is that bad as you would seriously consider coming back to a supposed evil and corrupt employer as WF having been an ex-employee and witnessing all of the travesty first hand?
What is wrong with your thought process?

I do t think so. They don’t bridge your time if you’ve been gone a while.

Retirement? lol. Nonexistent. Unless you’re part of special situations you don’t get any health insurance coverage at retirement. LTIA vest at some point but that’s it. You get pretty much nothing retiring from this sh-t company .
