Management reclassified from remote to hub

I am hearing of remote directors being told to begin reporting to hubs. I checked my own director in the directory and they are now reclassified as working out of a hub. Anyone else noticing a change in remote to hub status?

@db at their level we all know that it's more optics. They may change it up temporarily but in the long run they're not going to sacrifice remote work if they don't want to.

I work in one of these hubs and I already seen it with some of the more senior people that were grudgingly forced back earlier this year. These same people also get the benefit of having a dedicated private office even though that's supposed to be frowned upon now.

Why would anyone agree to spend 3 hours daily on commute to the stenchy hub? Life work balance does not exist with these people.

@d8 I know of one director that is relocating while also keeping their existing home. Quite the added expense in order to meet the RTO requirement.

How are they handling this for directors/SVPs who are hundreds of miles away from a hub?

@aj Nobody should work in any location or environment arbitrarily.
