That is the sad reality, not many jobs in oil & gas right now, unless you are in India.
@da Agreed. The oil and gas job market for americans is absolutely dead. If you're let go in this environment, it's time to move on.
The Hess workforce is a really wonderful group of people. Parting is sweet sorrow.

Orderly…The staff know that market is bleak and probably won’t be employed unless some serious event were to occur. Most will have houses on the market…half will never never be in the oil industry again..
