Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Stop complaining that GK said there would be no layoffs. You should know by now that she is a liar with zero integrity. Can't believe a damn word that comes outta her. Same goes for MC clowns.

U.S. Bank EACX employee here.
Given one day termination on August 21st.
Was not able to turnover active work.
Manager would not review layoff strategy and/or others impacted (robotic/secretive).
Know of 4 others from private calls.
All four age +55 years.
Years with USB: 35, 30, 15, 5.
Core values seem to have shifted since Andy transition.
Glad to have worked with USB but disappointing exit to say the least.

Yea, GK said in recent conference call that there were no planned layoffs, but WCIB has tons of layoff since the no layoff planned by GK.

They call it position elimination to avoid the term laid off, and do it sporadically.

Our area was one of the fastest growing segments too. No attempt to reposition was made.

The departure package was the best I’ve ever gotten, although I’ve never gotten a great exit lol.

And GK on her town hall the other week said the bank has no plan in place for layoffs.
The next day they laid off multiple people across several departments.

It's likely going to be small, but noticeable cuts over several weeks

they drag it out bit by bit to avoid WARN Act.

Who else thinks they drag it out soooo slowly to lower morale and get more people to quit by attrition.

ATM HD got hit. At least one person per shift and a whole level of management
