Sounds there's some issue internally within 3M.. frequent turnover of chief HR and chief IT officers in recent years.

@dg Surely RQ (aka Hot Mess) will have to relocate from Tally, Florida to St. Paul to be in compliance with the mandatory RTO for all employees, right?

Can we bring back whoever led Polaris and business transformation (BT)? The SAP implementation went so well and the leadership now has full line of sight to every aspect of the company. What wave are we on?

@d5 my thought was your #3 and #4 persons were one and the same. Now you have me wondering who the hungry one is who would have paved a path to be permanent. RK? MN?

@ac

Of the potential interim candidates:

One is widely regarded as a hot mess.
One is openly rumored to be retiring soon (and would have been the best choice).
One is hungry for the top job, and if they had been named interim it would have led to default path of making them permanent.

Leaving us with who was chosen. And who has a current team that contributed to much of the dysfunction.

The iconic, catchy tunes usually start with "Oompa Loompa doompa-dee-do" to teach lessons about greed, indulgence, and misbehavior.

For the interim successor for the CIO role...what makes that interim person even more incompetent? what stand out features do that individual have?

Longevity, baby. The HR woman stuck it to 3M and the 3Mers for over 25 years. The IT dude could only keep the act up for 4 years. Helped with the big spin-off, then "See ya!".
It writes itself.
