@d9 I did laugh after the HR leader on the call admitted to being remote right after she laid down the law on RTO.

I asked numerous times in the poll how tracking of the actual hours was being done and they kept deleting it.

@da I don't understand why they can't just be honest. Like, are they going to be doing it or aren't they? BE TRANSPARENT.

@d8 There were multiple questions asking about additional RTO tracking. They side stepped every single one and refused to answer.

Gotta love that the HR SVP on the call telling us about RTO is remote. “Do as I say, not as I do”

@cz wait what do you mean they shot down all time tracking? Like they said it wasn't going to happen or...what does this mean?

Loved the flood of laugh emojis that came in when they announced 8 hr minimum per RTO day

8 hours it is folks! Nothing less. Thanks to the genius who asked the question if 6 hours counts and gave management the opportunity to nail us with a smirk.

Unless they are bold face lying, they shot down time tracking in the tech town hall just now. Doesn’t mean the door is closed but my hope is people mostly adhere to the 3x a week and we can all move on.

@OP I asked multiple times in the Technology town hall how they were going to track the number of hours in office they kept the leading my question

@c7 At&t does 6 hours. It varies place by place.

Considering they have a lot of people who aren't even adhering to coming in, and a lot of "swipe and bolt" (you can't even call them coffee badgers because they don't even bring their laptops in) there are so many other problems to address with RTO. Like, I don't care what people do but the company does so we'll all end up suffering for the decisions of those who aren't even attempting to be reasonable about time in the office.

I think when Chase started tracking they did 4 hours. Given that we follow other banks' lead, I doubt this would happen at 6 hours.

Ah yes. This makes total sense for a site that allows people to post entirely anonymously.

What are they supposed to do? Provide email attachments? Like just think about this for a second. What proof is anyone going to be able to provide?
