I wonder what the future is for Retail to Business? Everything is very secretive. Nothing is being shared with the store locations. There are so many postings, would anyone consider this job after the November cuts?

Probably replacing the mid markets soon. 30 PIP process with crazy quotas will push a lot out without severance. The bulk of the business channel is the 1-19 space. All we do is prospect nonstop now. Zero account maintenance can be done with the sheer amount of calls you have to make daily. I do not know a single person in B2B that is happy, and I don't know a single person in R2B that isn't.
@d8 where are people hearing possible pay increase??? I’m hearing they might move us to salary vs hourly but for me that would be a pay decrease I’m assuming bc I think OT outweighs it. I’m also assume towards end of year when we are completely severed from retail we would make the same or less in commission. it seems it will be a lot harder then when we are apart of the stores I don’t think we’ll make as much and I am worried. What are you guys hearing about our potential pay or what do you think about the changes?
I was R2B and laid off after 9 years back in November. My current peers that are still working the role are still making $5-$6,000 checks but the new structure is very stressful. Depending on mostly outside sales can be tough when you’re use to building on store traffic.
R2b is probably one of the safest right now long term. A lot of rumors of title changes and pay increase. With the new agenda of trying to push them out of retails and be more outside sales focused. A lot of eyes on that channel to see if they can outperform B2B in new logo acquisition. However retail stores are COOOKED. There will be a time where 90% if verizon stores ate indirect
I was thinking of applying for this but I’m trying to get a feel for what I will make. Does anyone have an idea of what they think the average commission check will be on this new structure? Retail rep currently
