Did anybody impacted by layoffs get severance? Was it any good? Would anybody be willing to post what they got?

@1dm I believe it's two weeks for every one year of service. That's what I have consistently seen. But to answer your question, I believe anyone who hasn't been with the company at least a year would not qualify.
Is there a min or are you truly sc--wed with nothing if you haven't worked there 2 years yet.
@vc
1 week for every 2 years, that is horrible!
What happened to the days of 1 week for every year for individual contributers and 2 weeks for every year for middle management.
I really hope you are wrong about the every 2 years. Or, maybe, the people you talked to are contracted workers and not FTE employees of the company.
Every 2 years is crazy.
@a4 Can you share what department / position?
The rule of thumb, from my talking to my fellow DXE lay-offs, seems to be 1wk/severance for every 2yrs of tenure, rounded up.
@e5 how do you go about negotiation and on what grounds?
@d7 got the news yesterday and my last day is 5/29
My last day is also 5/29 and they’re offering me 4 weeks of severance. I will be negotiating it.
@d7 how long have you been with the company and what’s your level?
I got 13 weeks. My last day is also 5/29
min severance in 2026 is 4 weeks. more based on years of service.
What was your position?
Did this happen in the afternoon?
I’ve been employed by Centene for 7 years. I got 16 weeks of severance
Severance is never guaranteed. Always based off of years of service but I believe there is a minimum number of weeks you get regardless.
@a4 was severance based off of years of service or is it just a 6 weeks for everyone?
I just got RIF’d. Severance is 6 weeks of base pay. Last day is 05/29.
