Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

So our CEO doesn't just hide from staff but analysts too

At least he's consistent.
Who thought using an AI-generated voice model would be a good idea? What message does it send?

Also reading the gibberish he read out, not sure what's worse that he did write it but just got AI to say it or that it was clearly spewed out by AI?

DXC can definitely run a cluster....it is what it does best.

If only Rawool would take some lessons from his collegue Chairman at Monumental sports Ted Leonsis he would learn how to treat people decently.

Ted treats people equally wheter they are the top or a low level person. Thats his legacy and his respected.

Rawool only looks after his exec DXC friends and skrews over the people doing the actual work. Time to change Rawool.

@d6 yeah and we get the ibm reject divisional CFO to be the CFO of the entire company and he's way out of his depth. He should be next to be exited

Our staff have (probably intentionally) forgotten how to do their jobs. I don't believe some people are as thick as they make out, but I know they are underpaid and just out to make a point. If they really are as incompetent as they seem to be - we stand no hope whatsoever. Especially when the people who do know, are leaving in their droves because you can get paid more working part time in a chip shop!

It couldn't be any easier to fix DXC...or at least move it in the right direction. Stop hiring your friends and reduce the levels of management. In ISB, there are so many "leads" and more keep getting hired. All at high salaries and all have zero impact on anything other than how much word salad and vaporware they can sp-t out. Eliminate these useless roles, eliminate the redundant spreadsheets and processes that exist solely for them, eliminate the excess roles of "platform" architects, and use this money to pay the employees.

IBM have come in and shown what efficiency and quality look like — they deliver faster, with less fuss, and to a higher standard. It’s a clear reminder that quality comes at a cost. DXC’s ongoing drive to cut corners and squeeze its employees has eroded cooperation and morale. You can’t expect excellence when people feel undervalued and overstretched. It makes not odds to me how long stuff takes, I'll sit waiting patiently. But I can tell you the client isn't impressed.

Forget the drama and use of AI voice and "AI" terms in nearly every statement. Look at the data. Under Raul F leadership, DXC continues to shrink. Just because they use the word growth, it does not make real revenue growth happen. The changes implemented so far (mostly people changes) are not fixing core problems. The leadership is avoiding fixing the root problems, one of which is that Finance has too much power and control of the company. Finance should be a supporting function or service to the Leadership and Sales organizations.

All while Accenture, IBM, TCS, Cognizant, and HCL all are growing revenue off of bigger annual revenue numbers.

The new Xponential branding should fix everything! Well at least improve RF's pockets.

I don't believe we can run an AI cluster. The servers running legacy services are limping like a sick dog. It takes 45 seconds to login. You get about 5 mins before it glitches and you have to repeat. We've clearly decided it's not worth investing and hope to loose clients so it doesn't need upgrading.
