Nah, King Stink has tried TV already. The next brilliant idea will be to corner the market on auto parts. Coming soon to a filing near you, the attempted takeover of Autozone complete with $2B poison pill attached. Pivot to somethng you know nothing about and buy high, sell for pennies 10 years later — that’s the Stinky Way.

@d1 I already outrank you so I would hush up. I’m sacred cattle around these parts.

@d3 job and policy su-k, stock su-ks, pay way below market. This is a dead end. If I wasn’t just sticking around for 3 more years I would have left 2 years ago.

This just in from Stank’s genius strategy team…They will be making a competing offer against GameStop for eBay. Just think how much they can make on eBay by selling all that salvaged copper. John’s copper to unload and it makes perfect sense.

The only endgame that does not include T being acquired by one of the FAANG or AI big boys would require a big drop in interest rates to support our debt load. That is not happening with inflation at current levels. Of course the federal government has the same problem so perhaps we will go with Weimar Republic monetary policy.

Plenty of money to pay workers, pay the dividend.

Yes of course buy high and be sure to sell off two years later at a loss.

They would buy us before we buy them. This company is circling the drain. There’s no way T could afford it. We just took a loan to build the new HQ. Tells you everything you need to know and how bad of a decision it is. Good news is it’ll be converted to luxury condos within 5 years.

I heard they are looking at buying us actually. We are in last place these days.

@bp you don’t even know the difference yourself. This is a $150 billion dollar revenue producing company. Not a “billion dollar company”. So shut up and get off your high horse with your technicalities. This place is a sinking ship.

@bb so funny, someone who probably can't balance their bank account - commenting on how to run a Billion dollar company.

Stank lives by the book of bad decisions;

T stock still down, everything else is record highs

Company needs to buy back more stock however they can. No new acquisitions to put debt on the books.

AT&T had their day, it's come and gone.
Thank You Stephenson and Stankey you have made the world of telecommunications very proud!

Too much debt. More taken on recently for new office building. Simply cannot afford it due to the numerous blunders. They however might be able to acquire AT&T soon
