Same pattern as before. Layoffs started in Mexico, then move to USA/IDC the following week.

This week, layoffs in Mexico happened on 3/25 and 3/26, cutting about 15.46% of the workforce.

This round seems larger than before since it took two days to complete.

Not necessarily. Companies can comply with the WARN requirement by doing pay in lieu of notice—terminating immediately but continuing to pay employees for 60 days instead of posting notice in advance. Very common in tech companies.

Total BS. Nothing on WARN and it needs to be posted 60 days prior to layoff

They cannot shut down #general on Oracle One Slack workspace, that is a default workspace channel every new account auto joina. You can create your own Slack workspace against you personal email and verify that's how Slack works

Don't give slack channel names here. Channels will be shut like watercooler was last year if HR gets wind of it.

@a4+1kmsee5ec please just post facts, it is actually down since 3/25 when layoffs began. Someone posted the statistics on the channel mentioned on this post.
