Thread regarding Blackbaud Inc. layoffs

Layoffs are definitely already occurring. Kevin confirmed this in the PTG all hands on Tuesday.

@1e8 I haven't heard anything from any co-workers. It might have happened but I think it's more likely this person is lying or was fired instead of being laid off.

Either way doesn't matter too much. Leadership has explicitly been telling us that there will be lay offs and it doesn't matter if you are a good employee or not.

Just reading this on 2/25. Did it happen? Didn’t hear about any layoffs today. If they’re doing it, it’s being done very quietly. The sleazy way they like to do it.

Rumors of a union and a surprise announcement where all employees are welcome is coming soon?

@d7 That statement of the 8-10 million was pretty misunderstood. It may be for some severance but it also is the line item for india hiring, costs of executive travel to india, etc

You say terminated and that is slightly different than being laid off, technically speaking.

@d0 That makes sense. That’s probably one of the reasons they moved the PTG meeting back to March to inform the remaining PTG staff about layoffs and other updates.

Based on the OP’s post and the rumor mill from colleagues today, it really does feel like nearly all US based PTG engineers will be laid off at some point within the next two years.

@d4 I thought they said in the last earnings call the were anticipating 8-10million for severance this year. So unfair. At a loss for words. Good luck.

Managers were not informed when previous layoffs occurred.
