I live in Massachusetts and I am considering applying for AI/ML job in their Hopkinton campus (or Franklin one). I expected at least $250K total annual compensation. Can Dell provide me and Engineering job with such salary in MA?

just saw two recent postings for Java devs in Hopkinton. I guess not all jobs are going to India.
What exactly is drawing your interest to Dell over someone who has a lot more game in market, like Nvidia, Meta, or Google? What do you think Dell provides in terms of software ML/AI?
@h7 ain’t that the truth! Blows my mind.
wierd place to ask salary question
250k is not a lot - but as ML/AI you should know where to find the answers to that - and since you didn't - my take - you won't get a job in first palce
we have VERY high friction to do anything ML or Ai related internally. So if that's your career path, great, but Dell WILL disappoint you and hold you back in shocking ways and then collectively cheer how smart they are to do so, why they think it's wise to focus on 1/1000 of AI potential and block their inventors and creative thinkers... squash any narrative that says otherwise at all costs
Johnny and Joffrey don't like it when someone writes code that requires a GPU to run. they're not the sharpest tools in the toolshed
Since this was obviously written by a non-native English speaker, I’d say your odds are actually pretty good.
Dell is where careers go to End
@f8 sad..but true
No, you they will hire several offshore engineers and AI before hiring another high priced (but worth it) US resident.
Good luck with that…
@cz you can laugh all you want, but it's what I make
@ae - yeah right! lol 😂 😂 😂
@cb Uh-oh... :
LOL...no. You're a dinosaur at 50 as far as Dell is concerned. THey're getting rid of us...not hiring us.
@ae excellent!! thank you!
I don't know why not, I'm and IC and make well above that
