@dn
yup, i have heard the samething over at intel
i don't think they are doing so well now
i wonder if leads over in india get resumes from only caucasians
@e9 Don’t be mean to CS!! We are all blessed that she descended upon us with her presence!!
@dn ya this tbh
@bz CS is a prime example
@ds Can you show me on this doll where ascend has touched you
In 7 years as a lead I have only been given Indian resumes to evaluate. And all from the same region. And that’s not even getting into the preferential ETW contracting.
It is all so blatantly obvious. I’m not surprised Nike’s lawyers are stalling to give the paper shredders more time. The leaders making money off all of this were not subtle or smart enough to keep it off paper.
@cx that is such BS... I have seen princesses in some groups do the work of 5 leads, and those princesses are still at the bottom of the ladder, while all those leads brag all day long about their title and squash those princesses every second they get. Every male who comes into the group has a huge title, while women who do five times as much work have a low title and are getting squashed. Whose fault is it?? You are telling me that white men were left behind? If anything, DEI did nothing but the best for men and people of Indian origin. Although I did see some men fall through the cracks and be let go as part of the layoffs, then again, so many people were part of the layoffs: men and women, but rarely people of Indian origin.
Toxic Girlboss culture. Suffered through it my entire time at Nike and it was infuriating to watch these leather jacketed princesses get promoted by their bestie from UofO, teehee omg! now get to work!!! (delivered in perfect vocal fry).
who is running tech PMO over there these days?
@bz I see a lot of these posts. No, they did not at all. We are still at the bottom of it all. As a matter of fact, EEOC should investigate why white women are still not getting promoted in tech at Nike.
White women made out like bandits from the whole DEI push. How they benefited the most never made any sense to me.
This sort of discrimination investigation was due to happen. Why anyone thought it wouldn’t eventually fall under scrutiny is nuts. DEI programs and targets literally outlined the prioritization of certain genders or racial groups over others through monetary incentives! What the he-l did you expect to happen.
